Sit near an old window in January and you can feel the problem: cold radiating off single-pane glass, drafts sneaking around the frame, condensation and frost creeping up the pane. Windows are usually the weakest link in a home's envelope, and in a climate with our heating season, that weakness shows up on every gas bill.

Trust Works replaces windows as an envelope trade, not just a swap. The window itself matters, but the install decides whether you get the performance you paid for: square and plumb in the opening, flashed so water drains out, and the gap between frame and framing sealed with low-expansion foam instead of stuffed fiberglass. We built our name on air sealing, and window installs are where that discipline pays off most visibly.

We inspect your existing windows and tell you honestly which path each opening needs. Many projects mix both.

Window performance is written in its numbers: U-factor for how well it holds heat, solar heat gain for how much free sun warmth it lets in, and air leakage ratings for the drafts. In our climate zone, a low U-factor is the number that matters most, and double or triple pane units with low-e coatings and argon fill are the modern standard.
