New ConstructionInsulation in Minnesota
Trust Works insulates new homes, additions, and garages with spray foam while the framing is still open. We air-seal the whole envelope from the ground up so your build is tight, quiet, and comfortable from day one. Fully insured, with 20+ years of experience.
The envelope is easiest to seal before the walls close.
New construction is the one time you have open framing and full access to the entire building envelope. That is the moment to air-seal and insulate properly, because every gap you close now is a gap you will never have to chase down later. Spray foam takes advantage of that open access to seal the walls, ceilings, and rim joists in a way that batts simply cannot match once drywall goes up.
We work with homeowners, builders, and general contractors on new homes, additions, garages, and finished basements across Minnesota. Insulating at the framing stage means a tighter, quieter, more comfortable home, and a building envelope that performs the way our climate demands from day one.
The right foam for each part of the build.
Both open-cell and closed-cell spray foam air-seal as they insulate. The right choice depends on the assembly, the space you have, and whether you need a vapor retarder. On most new builds we use a mix of the two, matched to each area.
Open-Cell Foam
Softer, lighter, expands more
Closed-Cell Foam
Rigid, dense, higher R per inch
Not sure which belongs where? We spec the right foam for each assembly during the estimate, so nothing is over- or under-built.
Meet code and beat it on comfort.
Minnesota's energy code sets the minimum for insulation and air tightness in new homes, and spray foam makes hitting those targets straightforward because it air-seals and insulates in a single step. A tight, well-insulated envelope also lets your heating and cooling system be sized and run more efficiently, which pays off every month you own the home.
Beyond the numbers, an air-sealed new build is simply more comfortable to live in. No cold spots along exterior walls, fewer drafts, less outside noise, and a home that holds its temperature evenly from room to room. {{NEW_CONSTRUCTION_CODE_NOTE}}
