Steel is efficient to build and hard to insulate.
Steel-frame and metal-panel buildings go up fast and hold up for decades, but the same steel that makes them durable makes them a challenge to keep comfortable. Metal conducts heat and cold straight through the envelope, and warm interior air condenses on the cold steel panels and framing, dripping onto whatever is stored or worked on below.
The traditional fix, fiberglass rolls draped behind the panels, sags, compresses, and traps moisture over time, and it never truly stops the air leakage or the condensation. Spray foam is the direct answer: it bonds to the steel, air-seals the envelope, and controls the moisture that causes the dripping, all in a single application.
Closed-cell foam sticks to steel and stops condensation.
Sprayed to the interior side of the panels and into the framing, closed-cell spray foam adheres to the steel and cures into a rigid, air-tight, moisture-resistant layer. By keeping warm, humid interior air off the cold steel, it stops condensation at its source, and its high R-value per inch delivers real insulation in the shallow depth a metal building gives you.
It does not sag, settle, or wick water the way batts and rolls do in a steel building, so it keeps performing for the life of the structure. Where the assembly allows and condensation is not the concern, open-cell foam can be used to seal larger areas at a lower cost. We spec the right foam for each part of the building during the estimate.

Our metal building process.
Walk the Building
We assess the steel, the framing, and how you use the space, then spec the right foam and thickness for the walls and roof.
Prep & Protect
We mask off openings, equipment, and finished areas and prepare the steel for a clean, durable bond.
Spray the Envelope
We apply foam to the panels and framing to the specified thickness, air-sealing and stopping condensation as we insulate.
Inspect & Clean Up
We verify coverage, confirm the condensation problem is sealed, and leave the building clean.
